The State Capital Museum and Outreach Center covers the long and complex history of Washington state and its capital city, Olympia. Exhibits cover everything from the cultures of various Native American tribes that once dotted the state to the chances which Washington experienced during its move to statehood and industrialization. Surrounded by gardens displaying native plants, the museum sits about half a mile southwest of the Washington State Capitol complex, which contains the Legislative Building, the Temple of Justice and various memorial structures.

Adults $2; Seniors (60+) $1.75; Youth (6-18) $1; Children 5 and under are free.
